KALISPELL- Three and a half months ago, a beautiful little girl named Alexis was born in a Kalispell hospital. She was born to Don Lessor and Amber Thornton, but Alexis was a little bit different than your typical infant, Alexis was born with a cleft palate and a heart condition.

Legos have conquered the final frontier! Two Canadian teens spent a year designing a contraption they could send into space using a weather balloon.
It was equipped with four cameras, a GPS, and a Lego man holding a Canadian flag.
The device flew 80,000 feet into the stratosphere before the balloon burst. A parachute helped it float safely back to earth.
Using the GPS, the teens were able to recover it.

HELENA- A fiery collision has sent two women to the hospital in Helena. It happened at around 3 p.m. on Lincoln Road about a quarter-mile from the Green Meadow Drive turnoff.
Initial reports indicate that a westbound mini-van and eastbound pickup truck crashed.

Republican State Senator Jeff Essmann is dropping out of the race for Governor.
Essmann wrote a letter to his supporters Friday saying he didn't raise enough money to continue his campaign. He says there's a need for financial support for the winner of the Republican primary.

MISSOULA- A broken chairlift at Snowbowl Mountain, may cause limited skiing this weekend.
On Facebook, Snowbowl says there is an issue with the LaVelle chairlift, which is at the top of the ski hill.
