KALISPELL- Local police are still investigating a spree of recent vandalisms in the downtown area that is estimated to have caused thousands of dollars in damages.

Several vehicles and buildings were damaged by what appears to be keys or some type of metal object in one downtown area.

The Glacier Building and several others, including the Kalispell Public Library, were hit as were several vehicles.

KPD investigating officer Tony McDonnell says the incidents may be connected and adds that one certainty is the seriousness of the incident.

"Right now the Kalispell Police Department has had reports of at least 26 incidents of criminal mischief over the last five days. Some of the incidents as I'm sure you're aware involve some pretty significant damage on the order of several thousand dollars, which would categorize the incidents as a felony."

Anyone with information regarding the vandalism is asked to contact either the Kalispell Police Department or call Crimestoppers at (406) 752.TIPS.
