MISSOULA - The Missoula Police Department's holiday DUI patrols resulted in 66 people being arrested for drinking and driving.
The patrols were conducted between December 15th and January 1st. Sgt. Greg Amundsen says that officers focused on the downtown bar area, house parties and complaints called into 911 about suspected drunk drivers.
"Unfortunately, we did not achieve our goal of no DUI injury crashes, but we continue to work toward that every day of the year."
The department had 12 officers working overtime during this particular patrol.
