MISSOULA - A stolen stuffed bunny is only one of the things that landed a Missoula man behind bars after he walked into his neighbors apartment and threatened to kill her.
Rodney Smith is being charged with burglary after prosecutors say he walked into his neighbor's apartment in the middle of the night and started breaking things in her apartment.
The victim locked herself in her bedroom and called police and when officers responded to the scene they arrested Smith while he was still in the victim's apartment.
Prosecutors say the victim told the officers Smith tone was cold and he had a "far off" stare when he made the death threat.
Prosecutors also say Smith shattered a glass table, knocked over plants and opened drawers in the apartment.
He also stole a coffee mug and a pink, stuffed bunny out of her kitchen. Officers at the Missoula County jail later found the bunny in his pocket.
