MISSOULA- The man who walked away from the Missoula Pre-Release Center while he was looking for a job last Friday has been arrested in Kalispell.
A jury convicted Angelo Averill Gowdy of burglary and theft and he was still serving a portion of his sentence at the pre-release center when he left to look for a job and never came back.
He was last seen in Missoula on Friday and he was arrested in Kalispell on Sunday. Gowdy will now be taken to the Montana State Prison to face charges for the escape.
