MISSOULA- A Friday afternoon at Sentinel High School looks more like a sci-fi movie set and less like a classroom and this week's One Class At A Time grant goes to David Burtch and his robotic club which is set to compete in Spokane soon.

Aaron Bay from Allegiance Benefit Plan Management and Montana's News Station General Manager Bob Hermes presented the check to the Industrial Technology teacher.

Burtch's students are in the designing phase and the grant will go towards purchasing soldering kits and he says robotics is a combination of science, math and technology, but there's nothing like the thrill of seeing it all come together.

"There's great satisfaction when something you've designed from a bunch of pieces actually moves and does the job that the robot is designed to do," Burtch told us.
