MISSOULA- It feels more like a recording studio and less like a classroom for Chris Whiteman's students at Washington Middle School. The room is filled with Mac computers and students are busy compiling tracks of music.

Aaron Bay from Allegiance Benefit Plan Management and Montana's News Station General Manager Bob Hermes presented a $250 One Class at a Time the check to Whiteman who will be able to buy microphones, digital editing software and more computer equipment.

The music teacher says having cutting edge technology, turns his students into music professional.

"These students can do things like manage bands, they're learning how to plan a rock tour, what cities to stop out and how much fuel costs for a tour bus. And everything you could possibly imagine a music career involving, these kids are learning."
