In the spirit of Thanksgiving, nine Missoula county teachers are thankful to be this season's recipients of the One Class At A Time grant.
Lowell School 4th Grade Teacher Dan Beaudin says it only took him 10 minutes to apply for the grant online.
"It's been really great, it's going to help us out a lot. It's been an easy process."
CEO of Allegiance Benefit Plan Management, Dirk Visser, and Montana's News Station Manager, Bob Hermes, have presented eager teachers with some much needed extra money for their classrooms.
Thanks to the generosity of Allegiance, $2,250 has been given out this season already.
Frenchtown High School Science Teacher, Bob Henderson, says he wouldn't be able to keep his labs supplied without the grant.
"Probably running over a thousand dollars or more worth of chemicals a year with this particular curriculum that we have here at Frenchtown, so the amount of money that you guys are going to furnish is going to help immensely."
