Robin O'Day is a weekend anchor at KPAX. You can also find her filling in for the weather department and reporting. Robin was born in England and lived in a half a dozen places by the time she graduated from high school, thanks to being an Air Force brat.

Always the 'new kid' and moving from place to place, Robin developed a deep appreciation for different cultures and story telling from an early age.

She attended the Davidson Honors College at the University of Montana for two years before transferring to California State University at San Francisco and earning her Bachelor of Arts Degree in Creative Writing in 2000.

She took her first job at Johnson Enterprises in Washington D.C. as the tutorial director, leading web seminars between the National Science Foundation and the Excellence in Government.

Then Robin moved to New York City and worked for Mario Batali as an event planner for several of his restaurants. While in New York, she became a member of the Michael Chekhov Theater Company and performed off broadway.

She returned 'home' to Montana in 2007. Although Robin never stayed in one place too long, she considers Montana home and honors her family's roots here. Her father is from Helena and attended the University as well. In fact, she accredits her love for the theater from her grandfather, who ran the Marlowe Theater in Helena during the 1960's.

Robin joined the KPAX staff in 2008. She dove in and learned everything she could both behind and in front of the camera.

In June 2011, Robin took first place at the Montana Broadcasters Association in the category, News Enterprise, for her work "The e-Book Revolution Hits Montana."

On her down time, Robin still writes and directs plays. A good hike and some quality time with friends and family always puts a smile on her face
