Weather for us in western Montana will be very pleasant over the next several days as high pressure settles into the Pacific Northwest & much of the rest of the western half of the country!

Expect mostly clear skies overnight allowing temps to drop into the single digits & teens with valley fog developing by early morning.

Look for loads of sunshine again on Saturday after the fog mixes out. Highs will be in the low to mid 30s.

Unfortunately, high pressure during the winter months means we usually have some morning fog or low clouds, inversions, & therefore air quality concerns. All of these will strengthen by Sunday. We even have the potential for freezing fog Sunday morning. It will be harder & harder to mix out after all these foggy nights add up. Sunday could very well be a foggy day throughout with highs in the upper 20s to mid 30s!

A weak disturbance looks to brush northwest Montana on Monday into early Tuesday allowing for a few more clouds (still precipitation free) which might actually help scour out some valley fog.

Dry throughout most of next week.
