MISSOULA - We've enjoyed beautiful, June & even July-like temperatures over the last week or so here in Western Montana. But the warmth combined with the rain Thursday and even more rain expected this weekend, has raised a real concern for river flooding across the area.

MISSOULA- Residents of Lincoln and Sanders counties could be dealing with flooding as early as Friday.
The National Weather Service expects significant river rise through the week as very warm April temperatures begin to melt low and mid-level snowpack.

MISSOULA- Once reports of sexual assault on the University of Montana campus started to dominate the news, officials with one local Internet company wondered if there was something they could do to help. Their response was an app that's designed to make college campuses across Montana safer.

MOIESE- The bison controversy moved to western Montana Tuesday.
Governor Brian Schweitzer said it's just an idea at this point, but state and federal officials are talking about whether the National Bison Range at Moiese could play host to more of those quarantined Yellowstone bison.
